Just posted a new poem that isn't great. But the only way to hone these 'mad skillz' would have to be via practice. So, new poem... possibly garbage. Gotta refresh my vocabulary so I'll probably take

Crap

Holy frickin' crap. I am reading over Blood and Roses and cringing the whole way. It's been YEARS since I've read or even really thought about this stuff and it sucks. The story itself, or the general idea of the story, doesn't suck, but the writing is horrendous. Rewriting this is going to take a LOT of work and I don't even know when I am going to start. Of course, I'm also aware that virtually no one is reading this, but that's not really the point. It's for me to write out my feelings, thoughts and overall condition in order to think more clearly. At least, that's what I'm telling myself.

I'm back...again

John and I have returned from our vacation... like two weeks ago! LOL
I've been busy catching up with my work that I haven't had much time to do anything else.
We had so much fun and took lots of pictures which I've uploaded, so feel free to check them out. It was great! We drove a total of 1,031 miles. Crazy!! But it was fun!

Vacation!

I. AM. SO. EXCITED.
John and I are going on vacation next week! Yay!
We are going on a road trip from Fort Worth, TX down to Austin, TX. We'll spend some time there on the 20th, and that same day drive further south to San Antonio. We plan on spending two nights there. Our hotel is right on the River Walk, and we are gonna Paaar-taaay! Of course we'll visit the Alamo too, but I'm just excited to get out of town for a while.
After that, we're going down to Corpus Christi to visit my parents and will stay there for two nights as well. Lots of swimming, eating, drinking, partying, and whatever else we feel like doing.
10 straight days of paid vacation. Hallelujah!!

I have finally gotten 3 straight nights of solid sleep. Thank you Trish for hitting me on the head with that rubber mallet. It really did the trick! lol
Now I can get back to writing! About time!
